Job summary

Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Airlines, seeks a flight attendant to serve as the face of the brand while upholding safety and hospitality. You will fly regionally, welcome passengers, and perform safety procedures and service duties across bases in the West.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service, strong safety commitment, and ability to travel and relocate to bases such as Seattle, Portland, Medford, Boise, Spokane, Anchorage, or Everett. Training is four weeks in Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer or community service experience.
• Uncompromising dedication to safety.
• Ability to meet grooming and appearance standards.
• Ability to perform the duties of a flight attendant physically.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to relocate to multiple bases.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all safety regulations.
• Ensure safety equipment is in working order.
• Greet passengers and assist with seating and baggage.
• Explain safety equipment and emergency procedures.
• Serve meals and beverages, including alcohol.
• Market onboard products and process sales.
• Handle passenger situations calmly during flight.
• Answer questions about flight operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
