Job summary

Horizon Air seeks a flight attendant to fly regionally throughout the West, prioritizing safety while delivering exceptional onboard service. This union-represented role requires flexibility, strong customer service, and adherence to grooming and appearance standards.

You will train for four weeks in Portland, OR, support alcohol service, and relocate to bases as needed. A passport and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer or community service experience.
• Uncompromising dedication to safety.
• Ability to meet grooming, uniform and appearance standards.
• Ability to perform the duties of a flight attendant.
• Willingness to relocate to multiple bases.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Flexible to work varied schedules (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to attend 4 weeks of paid training in Portland, OR.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with safety regulations.
• Ensure safety equipment is in working order.
• Greet passengers and assist with seating and carry-on storage.
• Explain and demonstrate use of safety equipment and procedures.
• Prepare and serve meals and beverages, including alcohol.
• Market onboard products and handle sales via mobile device.
• Calmly resolve passenger situations during flight, including medical emergencies.
• Answer questions about flight operations and destinations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
