Job summary

Flexport in Miami is seeking an Implementation Manager to own and evolve the Implementation Methodology as our ICP product suite expands. This is a self-starter role, building playbooks and guiding projects end-to-end with Sales and Operations to go live.

You will lead cross-functional teams through award to ramp, manage the critical path, adjust plans as conditions change, and report progress to leadership with mitigation plans for blockers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 4+ years in logistics, supply chain management/consulting, or freight forwarding.
• A self-starter who spots process gaps and builds the solution before being asked.
• A track record of scoping, planning, and closing client-facing, cross-functional projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable owning the room with clients.
• Sharp attention to detail and a bias for delivering ahead of schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Implementation Methodology: task definitions, personas, ownership, timing, dependencies, templates.
• Take first-mover ownership of implementation gaps: build a playbook for new products or services.
• Partner with Sales and Operations as the client's primary point of contact through implementation.
• Lead implementation for new accounts and for existing clients from award through ramp to steady-state delivery.
• Scope awarded business and build the implementation project plan across Sales, Account Management, Planning & Ops, and Technical teams.
• Own the critical path and readiness to support: deliver what was sold on the timeline.
• Adapt the plan in real time as conditions change and turn learnings into better service quality.
• Report implementation status to leadership and mitigate barriers.
• Close out implementations with a project-style review to drive improvements into the Methodology.

The opportunity:

We're hiring an Implementation Manager to own and evolve Flexport's Implementation Methodology as our product suite expands. This is a self-starter role: you build the playbook for how we implement Flexport's ICP products today, then adapt it as new products and services come online. You'll drive implementation workflow independently, manage cross-functional projects end-to-end, and partner with Sales and Operations to get new business live and delivered as sold.

What you'll do:

• Build and evolve the Implementation Methodology: task definitions, personas, ownership, timing, dependencies, templates. Standardize them so the outputs can span across customers, services, and new ICP products as our suite grows.
• Take first-mover ownership of implementation gaps: when a new product or service doesn't have a playbook yet, you build one, rather than waiting to be told.
• Partner with Sales and Operations as the client's primary point of contact through implementation, including solutioning support.
• Lead implementation for new accounts and new business with existing clients, from award through ramp to steady-state delivery.
• Scope awarded business and build the implementation project plan, aligning sales, account management, planning & ops, carrier relations, procurement, fulfillment, and technical teams to execute.
• Own the critical path and readiness to support: deliver what was sold, on the timeline it was sold on.
• Adapt the plan in real time as conditions change; turn what you learn into better service level and quality.
• Report implementation status to commercial, business, and operational leadership — flag barriers early and bring a mitigation plan, not just the problem.
• Successfully close out implementations with a project style review capturing lessons learned to drive improvements into the Implementation Methodology.
