Job summary

Good Reason Houston is seeking a Manager, Regional Impact to advance evaluation practices across Houston’s education landscape. You will lead rigorous, mixed-method evaluations and build capacity through mentorship within the Research, Data, and Impact team.

You will collaborate with school districts, higher education partners, and funders to monitor progress and report impact. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with 3+ years in evaluation and strong data skills in Excel, Tableau, and R.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in professional evaluation, with mixed methods experience preferred.
• Familiarity with formal and informal evaluation methods.
• Strong project management and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous mixed-methods evaluations including logic models, plans, and instruments.
• Lead compilation of a Houston-focused compendium of effective programs.
• Coach and mentor staff in evaluation practices and reporting.
• Enhance internal impact monitoring systems and cadence in partnership with leadership.
• Translate findings into clear reports and data products for diverse audiences.
