Job summary

Essentia Health in Minnesota seeks a senior operational leader to oversee Radiology services across the East Region, including St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, and multiple clinics.

You will drive the operational, financial, and people performance of a comprehensive imaging program spanning CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and DEXA. Partner with Radiology leadership and regional executives to align imaging with system

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience leading operational, financial, and people performance across multiple sites or service lines.
• Experience managing financial planning, budgeting, and productivity targets for a hospital service line.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations, financial performance, and quality of Radiology services across multiple hospital and clinic sites in the East Region.
• Partner with hospital and medical leadership to align imaging services with system priorities and clinical strategy.
• Own financial planning, budgeting, and productivity for the imaging service line, with targets for volume, finance, patient experience, and employee engagement.
• Lead and develop imaging managers and front-line leaders across sites, clarifying scope and outcomes.
• Oversee technical management of imaging modalities and equipment, including capital planning and lifecycle replacement.
• Drive process improvement and standardization to elevate care experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards for imaging.
• Develop policies and procedures to support safe, efficient imaging services.
• Provide strategic consultation to East Region facilities on imaging program development.
