HDR is seeking a North Central Regional Hydropower Practice Leader to drive growth and oversee execution across HDR's North Central Region, with emphasis on pumped storage hydropower and regional projects. The role combines project leadership, business development, and supervision within a national hydropower context.

The position requires a BS in engineering, 10+ years in hydropower, and a track record in leading multidisciplinary teams; US licensure (PE) or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field and licensure or pursuit of licensure as a PE.
• 10+ years in hydropower, dam, hydraulic structures or related engineering experience.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage diverse teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong business development skills and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead or partner on key hydropower projects across the North Central region.
• Drive growth through industry relationships and HDR teams.
• Prepare and manage budgets and scopes of work for hydropower projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and supervise staff.
