Job summary

HDR seeks a North Central Regional Hydropower Practice Leader to drive growth and lead major hydropower projects across the North Central Region. The role blends project execution, business development, and team leadership with a focus on pumped storage and hydropower development.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, mentor staff, coordinate with other disciplines, and maintain strong client relations while reinforcing HDR's employee-owned culture and commitment to quality in power

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
10 years of experience in hydropower or related field.
Professional engineering registration (PE) and related technical experience.
Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
Willingness to travel and work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Lead or partner with HDR staff on hydropower projects across the North Central Region.
Manage budgets and track project finances for hydropower work.
Schedule and coordinate hydropower staff and tasks.
Mentor new staff and conduct performance reviews.
Coordinate with other disciplines and clients to drive project success.
