Job summary

HDR seeks a North Central Regional Hydropower Practice Leader to drive growth and execute new work across HDR's North Central Region. This role combines project execution, budgeting, and business development with a supervisory component for hydropower staff.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams on hydropower projects, including pumped storage, while building client relationships and expanding HDR's market presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years experience in related field.
• Professional engineering registration (PE).
• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• PE licensure in other states desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydropower projects across the North Central region.
• Manage budgets for hydropower section and track status.
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and staff.
• Hire and mentor new staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop client relations and contribute to business development.
