Job summary

Flynn Arby’s is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform installations, maintenance and repairs of facility HVAC/R, cooking equipment, refrigeration units, and related systems across Arby’s locations in the region. The role requires traveling region-wide, working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and lifting 50+ lbs.

The ideal candidate holds HVAC certification, is 18+, and can pass a DOT drug screen and background check. DOT safety requirements and a valid MVR are mandatory.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification (1 year+) required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must provide proof of legal work status in the United States upon hire.
• Possess basic tools and meters knowledge.
• Drug Free workplace - must pass a DOT Drug Screen, a fit-for-duty physical, and a criminal background check.
• Possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Climbing or rooftop work.
• Inside and outside work with exposure to extreme heat and cold.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R and related systems.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisor and store management to report repair status.
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC and cooking/refrigeration equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
