Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking an Area Technical Specialist to serve HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturer Representatives. You will provide expert technical guidance, troubleshoot VRF systems, interpret schematics, and coordinate training and field updates, ensuring customer satisfaction across the region.

The role requires extensive HVAC knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% to support residential and commercial LG products.

Qualifications

• HVAC diploma or degree preferred.
• 15–20 years HVAC or technical support experience.
• 3–5 years supporting LG VRF & RLC systems.
• Capable of managing regions and service champions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical docs and schematics.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional service support strategies via the LG Preferred Service Champion Program.
• Manage aftermarket support activities within the region.
• Interface with owners, general contractors and service champions on technical matters.
• Provide direct technical guidance via phone, email, and case support for HVAC stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and refrigerant diagrams for customers.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Controls to resolve escalated field issues.
• Arrange onsite service, training, and installation support for LG HVAC equipment.
• Develop and deliver technical training materials and sessions.
