Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market. The role focuses on ownership of facility performance across multiple locations and leadership of a skilled technician team.

You will drive predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leadership, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities throughout the region.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and develop others

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians across locations
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with regulations
• Secure permits and coordinate inspections per codes
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards
