Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Regional HSSE Manager to lead Occupational Health, Safety, and Human Performance initiatives across field services, repair shops, warehouses, and offices in the West region. Travel will be 50–75% and report to the Director of HSSE, collaborating with area leadership to drive safety programs and risk management.

You will partner with client safety departments, maintain OSHA/NFPA/NESC standards, and promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health required; CSP or similar credential preferred.
• 5–7 years of direct electrical safety experience.
• Knowledge of TapRooT or other structured root cause analysis methods.
• Strong fall protection knowledge and field application.
• Experience fostering Human Performance culture (HPI/HOP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety programs and promote a strong safety culture across field services, shops, warehouses, and offices.
• Standardize, implement, and monitor written health and safety policies.
• Provide professional health and safety assessments and hazard analysis.
• Develop and present Health & Safety training and awareness topics.
• Track safety training and compliance status; manage budgets for regional safety training.
• Coordinate safety training scheduling for regional management and communicate safety metrics to customers.
• Serve as main regional contact for health and safety issues and regulatory guidance.
• Develop procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
