Job summary

Bond Vet in the Northeast is seeking an HRBP to partner with regional and practice leaders across multiple clinics. You will own employee relations, leaves, and coaching for managers while maintaining on-site presence and strong policy compliance.

This is ideal for an HR professional with 3–5 years of experience who wants to grow into a broader HRBP role, live near one of our clinics, and travel to regional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HR as a generalist or HRBP.
• Experience with employee relations and leaves, including FMLA and ADA.
• Calm, fair and good judgment; know when to escalate.
• Strong relationship-building with managers.
• Organized and able to manage many open cases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and practice leaders as the HR go-to for several regions.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, performance plans, terminations.
• Manage leaves end-to-end including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Coach managers on feedback and difficult conversations.
• Monitor turnover, engagement and ER themes; advise on improvements.
• Support onboarding for new hires and managers.
• Roll out people programs: reviews, onboarding and surveys.
• Ensure compliance with state/local employment laws.
• Spend time on-site at clinics to build trust with teams.
