Job summary

YQN is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner to support Northeast warehouse and transportation operations from Port Reading, NJ. You will partner with site leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance to drive retention and performance.

The role covers multi-site HR programs, policy standardization, onboarding for new sites, and close collaboration with Recruiting. Travel up to 30% across the region is required; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including regional responsibility.
• Experience supporting frontline workforces in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. and New Jersey employment law; travel assistance for other Northeast states is a plus.
• Strong data skills and ability to translate metrics into action.
• Willingness to travel between sites up to 30%.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for regional and site leadership across Northeast locations.
• Lead workforce planning with Operations, including headcount, staffing models, labor cost, and seasonal peaks.
• Manage employee relations across sites: investigations, coaching, escalations.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and NJ laws; coordinate with legal when needed.
• Track HR metrics (turnover, attendance, time-to-fill) and drive action plans.
• Drive retention and engagement programs for frontline and supervisory staff.
• Coach site managers on performance management, feedback, and leadership.
• Partner with Recruiting on hiring plans for new sites and high-volume roles.
