Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to lead people operations across multiple sites. You will partner with site and regional leaders to support a large, fast-paced workforce, coaching managers and shaping HR practices at scale.

This role focuses on manager enablement, org planning, performance coaching, and employee relations, while ensuring HR systems and policies run smoothly across sites. A competitive base salary and equity accompany a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a People Partner or HR Manager in a fast-paced startup.
• Experience supporting multi-location teams and frontline managers.
• Strong data accuracy and documentation habits for HR processes.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour laws and labor compliance across states.
• Excellent communicator with ability to build trust across levels of the org.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site and regional leaders on workforce planning and performance.
• Drive consistent People practices and manager behaviours across sites.
• Support non-exempt workforce needs — scheduling, attendance, and performance issues.
• Launch and scale HR infrastructure in new markets.
• Build and report core people metrics and drive improvements.
• Own first-line employee relations with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain policy interpretation and wage-and-hour compliance.
• Collaborate with People Ops on onboarding, payroll alignment, and leave management.
