Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to support our Ohio communities, with a heavy focus on employee relations, compliance, leave management, investigations, and leadership guidance. You’ll play a strategic HR lead role, translating employment law into practical guidance and helping leaders execute with consistency.

You’ll travel across the Ohio region, coach site leaders, and manage high-impact HR issues to protect the organization and support outstanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field
• Strong employee-relations experience
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA and accommodations, workers’ compensation, performance management, workplace investigations, terminations and corrective action, and federal and state employment law
• Strong documentation and case-management discipline
• Ability to coach and influence operational leaders
• Strong judgment and ability to make recommendations in ambiguous situations
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Ohio region

Responsibilities

• Provide regional HR leadership across multiple Ohio communities
• Oversee employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective action, performance management, termination reviews
• Manage FMLA administration, complex leave situations, ADA guidance, and workers’ compensation coordination
• Interpret employment law and ensure regulatory compliance; apply policy consistently
• Coach leaders and escalate material risk when needed
• Collaborate with executives and regional leaders to drive accountable people decisions
