Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to provide strategic HR leadership across multiple Ohio communities with an onsite focus. You will support community leaders by translating employment law and policy into practical guidance while managing employee relations, leave, investigations and risk escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong employee-relations experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of FMLA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional HR leadership across multiple Ohio communities.
• Own key employee relations functions, including workplace investigations.
• Lead corrective action and performance management.
• Handle termination review and support high-risk employment decisions.
• Manage FMLA administration and complex leave situations.
• Provide guidance on ADA and accommodations.
• Oversee workers’ compensation case management and return-to-work.
• Ensure employment law and regulatory compliance are met.
• Interpret and reinforce policy for consistent application across communities.
• Maintain documentation and manage cases end to end.
• Provide leadership coaching and execution guidance.
• Escalate material risk when appropriate.
• Travel throughout the Ohio region as needed.
