Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to support Ohio communities with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance, leave management, workers’ compensation, investigations, and leadership guidance.

You will serve as the strategic HR lead to community leaders, helping them make better people decisions and execute with clear direction while balancing risk and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field
• Strong employee-relations experience
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA & accommodations, workers’ compensation, performance management, investigations, terminations, and employment law
• Strong documentation and case-management discipline
• Ability to coach and influence operational leaders
• Willingness and ability to travel across Ohio

Responsibilities

• Provide regional HR leadership across Ohio communities
• Oversee employee relations and workplace investigations
• Manage FMLA administration and complex leave situations
• Offer ADA guidance and return-to-work support
• Coordinates workers’ compensation case management and return-to-work
• Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws
• Interpret policies and apply them consistently
• Lead coaching of leaders and escalate risks as needed
• Maintain documentation and case-management records
• Support high-risk employment decisions and terminations
