Cardinal Senior Living is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to support Ohio communities from an onsite base in Mentor, OH. You will bring HR guidance to community leaders and ensure consistency, compliance, and confidence in employee matters across the region.

You will serve as a strategic HR partner, guiding operational leaders through people decisions, providing structure, guardrails, and clear recommendations. Travel throughout Ohio is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Strong employee-relations experience.
• Knowledge of FMLA and ADA; accommodations.
• Experience with workers’ compensation.
• Experience with performance management and investigations.
• Experience with terminations and corrective action.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment law.
• Strong documentation and case-management.
• Ability to coach leaders and travel Ohio region.

Responsabilités

• Provide regional HR leadership across multiple Ohio communities.
• Take primary responsibility for employee relations and ensure consistency.
• Lead workplace investigations and manage documentation and case workflow.
• Own corrective action and performance management processes, coaching leaders.
• Support termination review and high-risk employment decisions with risk assessment.
• Manage FMLA administration and complex leave situations.
• Provide guidance on ADA and accommodations.
• Oversee workers’ compensation case management and return-to-work coordination.
• Ensure employment law and regulatory compliance are met.
• Interpret and apply HR policies consistently across communities.
• Escalate material employee, legal, or compliance risk as needed.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors and regional operations leadership.
