SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee day-to-day human resources operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and labor laws, and partner with leadership to support workforce stability and engagement.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding, leaves, compensation and benefits coordination, maintain records, and drive policy development and employee training while modeling the CARE values of commitment, accountability, respect, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in human resources
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel, if needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage all core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations
  • Primary responsibility for the Texas region, with the flexibility to support other states and regions as business needs evolve
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on HR policies, employee issues, and workforce planning
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to support staffing needs
  • Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state leave programs) and coordinate with benefits vendors as needed
  • Support compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in partnership with internal teams or external providers
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Lead or support HR projects related to policy development, training, engagement, and organizational improvements
  • Coach and support managers on performance management, accountability, and leadership best practices
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, compliance, and respect aligned with the organization’s mission and values
