MissionHires is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, performance management, benefits and leave administration, training, and HR reporting within a fast-growing online pharmacy.

The successful candidate will partner with managers to foster an inclusive and compliant workplace, handle confidential information, and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing/pharma-inspired environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance activities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and policy administration.
  • Experience in manufacturing/pharma/GMP/FDA-regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary resource for employee questions on policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Support employee relations investigations, policy violations, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with managers to promote an inclusive, productive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting: posting, screening, interviews, offers.
  • Facilitate onboarding and ensure pre-employment requirements are completed.
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, local laws.
  • Assist with handbook administration, HR records, audits, regulatory inspections.
  • Support performance review processes and manager follow-up.
  • Assist with development, succession, leadership, and engagement initiatives.
  • Respond to benefits enrollment questions and coordinate LOA, ADA accommodations, workers' comp.
  • Coordinate compliance and training programs; maintain training records.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce data.
  • Support HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in plant/warehouse activities and travel between facilities.

MissionHires is looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join an innovative online pharmacy organization. This role supports daily HR operations across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, performance management, benefits and leave administration, training, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate is a trusted, confidential partner who can manage multiple priorities while helping foster an inclusive and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary resource for employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Support employee relations investigations, policy-violation reviews, performance concerns, and corrective-action processes.
  • Partner with managers to promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and administering offers.
  • Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation and ensure pre-employment requirements are completed on time.
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with policy updates, employee handbook administration, personnel files, HR records, audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support performance review processes by monitoring timelines, completion rates, and manager follow-up.
  • Assist with employee development, succession planning, leadership development, and engagement initiatives.
  • Respond to benefits enrollment questions and coordinate leave-of-absence requests, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Coordinate compliance and employee training programs and maintain training records and certifications.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain workforce data related to hiring, turnover, training, and employee engagement.
  • Support HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in plant, warehouse, or production-floor activities as needed and occasionally travel between facilities or off-site events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

  • Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance activities.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and policy administration.

  • Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, GMP, FDA-regulated, or warehouse environment is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
