Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Manager in Tempe, AZ to lead employee relations, policy interpretation, and workforce planning across business units.

The role partners with management to improve morale, retention and compliance, providing guidance on performance management, investigations, and HR programs while ensuring alignment with federal and state laws and company policies. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential; five years of HR experience and SHRM

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HR experience including complex employee relations issue resolution
• Working knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws
• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, or equivalent education/training/experience
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
• Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of related HR experience including complex employee relations issue resolution
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
