Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to lead HR activities across our Ohio operations from Ironton. You will partner with management to drive recruitment, employee relations, training, and policy compliance while maintaining a culture of respect and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR, a Bachelor's in HR Administration or related field, strong knowledge of federal and state laws, and the ability to travel between locations as needed. Travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HR management or generalist roles across all HR functions.
• Experience supporting multiple operating locations and travel.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and consultation to employees and management, including performance coaching and policy interpretation.
• Partner with supervisors and management to implement policies, programs, and employee benefits.
• Oversee maintenance of employee records, evaluations, attendance, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity and related regulations across the region.
• Conduct investigations and resolve employee concerns; participate in hearings as needed.
