Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks an Area HR Manager to lead human capital strategies across Kalamazoo, MI, Elgin, IL, Romeoville, IL and Lombard, IL. You will partner with plant leaders, drive staffing decisions, and advance career development for the site teams.

Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will travel about 40% to connect with leaders and employees and ensure compliance with policies while driving results and a strong work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years in Human Resources Business Partner or Management role.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in HR strategy projects aligned to business imperatives.
• Ensure 100% policy compliance across locations and processes.
• Influence and communicate with all organization levels, from shop floor to leaders.
• Coach Area General Managers and Front-Line Leaders.
• Identify and resolve employee relations issues promptly.
• Drive engagement initiatives and advocate for employees.
• Oversee compensation, merit and bonus planning processes.
• Facilitate talent reviews and PM processes using current tools.
• Collaborate with Union leadership to maintain positive relations.
• Manage annual merit and bonus planning.
