Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking an Area HR Manager to strategically lead HR initiatives across Kalamazoo, MI; Elgin, IL; Romeoville, IL; and Lombard, IL. You will partner with plant leaders to ensure the right talent, drive engagement, and align workforce strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities include coaching leaders, managing performance and employee relations, and leading compensation/bonus processes while traveling ~40% to supported locations. This role is on-site at IL locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years in HRBP or management role.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategies and projects aligned to business imperatives.
• Ensure 100% policy compliance and best practices.
• Coach leaders and manage employee relations.
• Drive talent reviews and performance processes.
• Collaborate with Union leadership where applicable.
• Oversee compensation planning, merit and bonus processes.
