Job summary

Heraeus Precious Metals is seeking a strategic and hands-on Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leader to guide EHS across North American operations. This role will establish and execute a regional EHS strategy, strengthen management systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The Regional EHS Leader will oversee EHS professionals at multiple sites and partner with Site Leaders, Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR and Legal to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, safety, chemistry, industrial hygiene or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or complex industrial settings.
• Experience leading EHS programs across multiple sites or business units.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and develop EHS professionals.
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, permitting, occupational safety, risk management and EHS audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS across North American operations and set regional strategy.
• Develop and execute regional EHS standards, programs, metrics and governance.
• Build capability and lead EHS professionals across sites.
• Provide guidance on environmental permitting, sustainability and risk reduction.
• Oversee incidents, investigations, audits and regulatory matters; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Site Leaders and functions to align EHS with business priorities.
• Lead EHS for capital projects and new technologies if applicable.
• Coordinate with global EHS leadership to share best practices.
