Job summary

Apex Service Partners Southeast is hiring an Employee Services Generalist to support a decentralized program at the regional level. You’ll partner with market leaders and employees to provide hands-on HR services across onboarding, benefits, total rewards, training, compliance, risk, and employee relations.

You will help ensure a consistent onboarding experience across locations, manage benefits and payroll-related inquiries, and support performance management and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent HR experience.
• Three or more years of HR generalist or employee services experience, including the full employee lifecycle.
• Ability to support employees at all levels with balance, empathy, and discretion.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO principles.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations, including remote employees.
• Experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments such as contact centers.
• Proven ability to adapt to a rapidly growing team and build or improve HR processes.
• Experience developing managers and leadership training.
• Experience writing or revising employee handbooks and HR policies.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office; [specific system, e.g., UKG, ADP, Workday] preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on benefits, payroll, policies, and general HR matters.
• Coordinate talent acquisition support and new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, system access, and orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data across hires, transfers, and separations.
• Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and total rewards communications.
• Assist with performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Support offboarding, final pay coordination, and equipment return.
• Document employee relations concerns and elevate as appropriate.
• Measure HR process performance and recommend improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Help draft and update employee policies and handbook content.
• Ensure compliance with federal, North Carolina, and South Carolina employment laws and company policy.
