Job summary

Fairway Management is seeking a dedicated Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing properties with LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 compliance experience. The role requires strategic operations, financial oversight, and leadership of property managers across multiple sites.

You must be willing to travel within your region a minimum of four days per week to ensure performance and compliance. Applicants should have at least seven years of management experience in multifamily housing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of management experience within the property management industry.
• Expert-level knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 compliance.
• Skilled in budget planning for a large portfolio and leading teams.
• Strong communication, financial, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of multi-family property management practices; proficiency in OneSite or RealPage software.
• Ability to manage conflicts and resolve issues promptly.
• Experience in file management, facilities management, and overseeing property operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain property management strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Travel to sites within region a minimum of 4 days weekly.
• Hire, train and supervise property managers and maintenance staff for the properties in your portfolio.
• Perform performance appraisals for property management personnel in your portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Oversee finances, budgeting, and forecasting for each property.
• Oversee leasing and marketing efforts to maximize occupancy rates.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on strategic initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly site visits for audits, inspections, and support on-site teams.
