Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing communities. You will sharpen operations, improve financial performance, and build strong onsite teams while delivering a resident-focused experience.

You’ll partner with Community Directors, conduct frequent field visits (4 days/week), and travel regularly to ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 and state programs. Leadership and hands-on coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 knowledge is required.
• Experience leading multi-site properties and field work required.
• Willingness to travel ~80% and visit properties 4 days/week.
• Proficiency with property management software (RealPage/Yardi) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property performance metrics and budget variances.
• Lead on-site presence across portfolio with weekly inspections.
• Partner with Community Directors on monthly financials and corrective actions.
• Own action plans for underperforming assets and drive portfolio strategy.
• Oversee AR/AP trends and communicate with Asset Management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain curb appeal and readiness.
