Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a defined geographic region, ensuring exceptional healthcare experiences, operational excellence, and strong client and teammate engagement. This senior role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to deliver measurable value to patients and clients.

The candidate will own P&L, drive efficiency, and lead multidisciplinary teams across clinics, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations.
• Proven full P&L responsibility for a large business unit or division.
• Experience leading multisite operations in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and sustain executive-level partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the region, including labor, supplies, and expense management.
• Drive performance against budget while maximizing impact for patients and clients.
• Champion operational discipline, quality, safety, and infection control across all health centers.
• Develop and lead clinical teammates, including coaching and performance management.
• Collaborate with onboarding to ensure seamless startup of new centers in market.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
