Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to guide multiple healthcare facilities in a compliant, resident-centered manner. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and requires strong leadership across teams.

You will evaluate programs, monitor KPIs, manage budgets, ensure regulatory readiness, and cultivate positive relationships with residents, staff, and families while driving quality of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator license in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferred.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and recommends overall operation of each facility in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Monitors KPI such as Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement processes and customer satisfaction.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, employees, and family members through effective communication.
• Leads budget development with facility leadership and reviews monthly financial statements for the governing board.
• Coordinates and facilitates routine leadership meetings to discuss priorities and solutions.
• Ensures regulatory readiness and implements corrective actions as needed (mock surveys, etc.).
• Promotes teamwork and effective communication across interdisciplinary teams.
• Acts as change agent to improve services and compliance across facilities.
