Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to guide the operations of our healthcare facilities within the region, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and delivering high-quality resident care.

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Operations Officer, hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator license, possess a health administration degree, and bring 3+ years of supervisory experience in long-term care to lead programs,

Qualifications

• A valid, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator's license in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility preferred.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding overall operation of each facility in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Monitors facility KPIs and Quality Assurance processes.
• Leads and coordinates routine team meetings with facility leaders to discuss priorities and solutions.
• Develops and maintains relationships with residents, employees, and families.
• Performs rounds to observe residents and ensure needs are met and staff are competent.
• Promotes teamwork and effective communication across the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversees budget development and reviews monthly financial statements for the governing board.
