Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer to lead operations across the Western and Northcentral Regions, overseeing three hospital campuses and multiple Healthplex sites. The role reports to the executive leadership team and focuses on programmatic, operational, and financial oversight to drive high-quality care and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will reside within the regions, bring a Master’s in Business Administration/Healthcare Management, and at least ten years’

Qualifications

• MBA/healthcare mgmt degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of healthcare leadership experience.
• Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate operations of hospital and related clinics within the region.
• Ensure adherence to system-wide standards for physician, program, and nursing care.
• Oversee regional financial operations and capital budgeting to maintain fiscal viability.
• Drive continuous performance improvement and align regional goals with system strategy.
• Foster collaboration with medical staff, administrators, and community partners.
