Job summary

STGi seeks a Regional IT Manager to oversee information technology systems across multiple long-term care facilities in Charlotte, NC. You will ensure secure, compliant IT operations supporting clinical, financial, and administrative functions, and coordinate system upgrades with vendors.

The role requires HIPAA knowledge, EHR system experience, and leadership of staff or MSPs, with extensive travel (40–70%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of IT experience; healthcare IT experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or regional role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and cloud systems.
• Experience with healthcare EHR systems in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA security requirements.
• Ability to travel within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations and infrastructure across multiple facilities.
• Ensure high availability of EHR systems and vendor management for healthcare platforms.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and deployments; disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and risk assessments.
• Lead IT staff or MSPs and develop IT policies and SOPs.
• Support onboarding of new facilities and system implementations.
• Travel 40-70% for installations, audits, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with IT budgeting and capital planning; support telehealth initiatives.
