Job summary

STGi in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Regional IT Manager to oversee IT systems, security, and support across multiple long-term care facilities. The role focuses on HIPAA-compliant operations, EHR optimization, and regulatory adherence, with leadership of IT staff and vendors.

The position requires 5+ years in IT with healthcare experience, supervisory skills, and readiness to travel 40-70% within the region. A bachelor's degree and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• 5+ years IT experience; healthcare IT preferred.
• 2+ years in supervisory/regional roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, M365, and cloud systems.
• Experience with healthcare EHR systems in long-term care preferred.
• HIPAA security knowledge.
• Ability to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure across facilities (networks, servers, workstations).
• Ensure high availability of EHR systems.
• Manage vendor relationships for EHR, billing, telecom, and hardware.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and deployments.
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Monitor system performance and address outages promptly.
• Support EHR platforms and integration with clinical, billing, pharmacy, and labs.
• Assist with PDPM/MDS system configuration and reporting.
• Support revenue cycle systems and secure data transmission.
• Travel to facilities for installations, audits, and troubleshooting (40-70%).
