The Health and Safety Technical Specialist role supports TDOT Region Business Solutions by developing and evaluating safety programs for Region/District employees. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field as outlined in the position description.
• TDOT Specialist II/III require 1–2 years of demonstrated competency in related field.
• Professional licenses and/or certifications are required.
• Possession and maintenance of a Class D driver's license valid in Tennessee.

Aufgaben

• Conduct safety inspections and document safety data, incidents, and near-misses.
• Support emergency preparedness by developing and revising facility-specific action plans and drills.
• Assist with training records, data reporting, and regulatory compliance responses.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and maintain training rosters.
• Collaborate with HR, Training Teams, and OHS to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist in compiling PPE specifications and interpreting testing results to aid program improvements.
