Job summary

HDR, headquartered in the United States, seeks a dynamic Northeast Region Health Director in Arlington, VA. You will shape HDR’s health sector future by leading business development, pursuing opportunities, and guiding health project delivery across the region with senior principals.

As a leader, you will mentor health leaders, manage sector goals, and promote HDR’s capabilities at conferences, networks, and client meetings, while driving growth and delivering value to clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, planning or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Maintain professional registration.
• Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for architecture, engineering and/or planning services.
• Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual market sector planning by establishing annual fee goals, marketing budgets and expected outcomes regionally and locally.
• Deliver regional performance in support of health sector goals.
• Translate sector priorities into actionable market plans.
• Identify barriers to goal achievement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients across regions and local offices.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client partnerships.
• Proactively address client concerns.
• Increase awareness of HDR's health practice locally and regionally.
• Represent the firm in local healthcare markets and industry organizations.
• Participate in regional conferences and networking events.
