Job summary

WEX, Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Director for Health & Benefits to drive new business growth and expand relationships in the assigned territory. This outside sales role requires daily field presence, strategic prospecting, and compelling presentations to brokers, consultants, and employers.

The successful candidate will maintain strong pipeline management, deliver impactful demonstrations, and collaborate with internal teams to win RFPs and grow market share. Travel is a key component of success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in B2B, SaaS, benefits, healthcare, financial services, or related industry.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience developing and managing relationships with brokers, consultants, partners, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently manage a geographic territory and travel schedule.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple opportunities.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM platform.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned territory with accountability for revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities via prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationships.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with brokers, consultants, employers, and internal WEX sales teams.
• Schedule and conduct meetings to generate opportunities and advance sales cycles; deliver product demos and training.
