Clean Harbors in Bristol, CT is seeking Class A tractor-trailer drivers to haul dry van freight between Bristol, CT and Cincinnati, OH. The role includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus, health benefits after 30 days, and bi-weekly home time.

You’ll coordinate with dispatch and ensure cargo is secured and compliant with DOT rules. Eligible drivers have 12+ months of verifiable Class A experience, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, a valid DOT medical card, and are comfortable with mobile apps and basic

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 12+ months verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Current HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Comfort with mobile apps and basic computer software.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Hazardous materials handling experience.
• Truck operations and load securement knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment and other assigned vehicles.
• Comply with DOT safety procedures and company policies.
• Stay within legal weight limits and optimize trailer utilization.
• Load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secure cargo properly.
• Placard equipment per regulations.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, dispatch/trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
