Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee regional hardware availability and inventory across AWS data centers in the Americas. You will identify root causes, drive fixes, and coordinate with logistics to improve delivery windows.

The role involves owning spares readiness for new data centers, leading process improvements, and translating complex data into clear leadership guidance for investments and prioritization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field
• 4+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering across levels
• Experience measuring key operational metrics (order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on-time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate)

Responsibilities

• Keep the region healthy. Monitor hardware availability across the Americas, identify root causes when things go wrong, and build action plans that fix problems at their source.
• Balance the network. Analyze inventory positions and demand trends across sites. Drive rebalancing when locations differ.
• Own delivery performance. Track on-time arrivals, investigate exceptions, and improve delivery windows with carriers.
• Manage inventory accuracy. Ensure system vs shelf alignment; monitor locations, cycle counts, and flows between warehouses and data centers.
• Bring new sites online. Ensure spares readiness before first server goes live at new data centers.
• Drive improvement projects. Lead initiatives to make planning faster and more automated.
• Communicate to leadership. Translate data into recommendations for senior leaders.
