Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced supply chain and procurement professional to own, build, and run spare parts supply chain strategies for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive plans and execution supporting a high-growth, global infrastructure environment.

The role emphasizes ownership, data-driven decisions, and end-to-end supply chain management, with a focus on inventory optimization and cost productivity across regions and nodes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate spare parts inventory strategies in alignment with multiple channels and business goals.
• Create and execute replenishment and inventory strategies to achieve key business outcomes.
• Leverage reports and analytics to support decisions aligned with strategy and goals.
• Monitor usage trends, forecast demand, and evaluate forecast results.
• Collaborate with data center operations, hardware engineering, supply chain, and logistics to understand needs and demand drivers.
• Review buying multiples, minimums, replenished forecasts, lead-times, and vendor performance.
• Partner with suppliers and stakeholders for collaborative forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Develop strategies to monitor and reduce inventory excess across regions.
