Job summary

Movement is seeking a Facilities Associate to maintain two gyms and assist at others as needed. You will partner with the Director team to ensure facilities are in excellent condition, prioritizing emergency repairs and coordinating capital projects.

You’ll report to the West Assistant Facilities Director and support daily maintenance, safety, and project execution. This full-time role requires flexibility, strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to travel to all region

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely use and supervise power tools and ladders; rope access training available.
• Must have a driver’s license and be able to travel to all region gyms.

Responsibilities

• Meets bi-weekly with Gym management to prioritize and plan for each of the gyms they work in.
• Performs general maintenance.
• Coordinates with Facilities Service Providers for trades as needed.
• Maintains maintenance logs and reports daily activities.
• Manages maintenance calendar, costs, staffing needs, and execution of approved proposals.
• Develops and implements maintenance procedures with management.
• Oversees relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Monitors equipment inventory and orders supplies with budget approvals.
• Performs rope access checks and safety inspections.
