Job summary

Stand Together, as part of the LIBRE Initiative, is seeking a Regional Field Manager to recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders in the Harrisburg Tri-County area and drive policy reforms that expand opportunities across the state.

You will identify activists, train local leaders, organize community events, and keep volunteers engaged while coordinating part-time canvassing teams and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organization, and/or political campaigns.
• Supervisory experience with volunteers or staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently - or could become leaders - in their local communities, and motivate them to advocate for change.
• Equip these local leaders to advocate for changes that are consistent with principles LIBRE believes in; connect them to training and resources.
• Organize events where you and other activists can engage the public through phone calls, social media, walking through neighborhoods to talk with people face-to-face; create innovative outreach methods.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices.
