Job summary

California Association of REALTORS® seeks a Governmental Affairs Field Representative to strengthen relationships with REALTORS®, local associations, and policymakers across California. The role blends field-based work with strategic planning, leadership development, and program design.

You will travel regionally, work hybrid from the Sacramento area, and engage in campaigns, outreach, and member education to advance advocacy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in grassroots organizing, political campaigns, legislative affairs, public policy, or related fields.
• One or more years of experience independently managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Experience utilizing databases, CRM platforms, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement regional engagement programs to strengthen relationships with REALTORS®, Local Association staff, and stakeholders.
• Develop leaders and volunteers to support C.A.R.'s legislative and political agendas.
• Recruit members for in-district lobbying and Legislative Day activities.
• Educate and inform staff on PAC administration and campaign resources.
• Engage with public officials and gather local political intelligence for campaigns.
