• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in government relations.
• 5+ years lobbying elected officials and agencies.
• Professional experience on California legislative or budget policies.
• 5+ years working with workforce development coalitions.
• Experience developing and executing advocacy strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Under the VP, manage Calbright’s state advocacy strategy, priorities, and budget engagement.
• Monitor and report on state legislative, regulatory, and budget proposals related to higher education and workforce policy.
• Update leadership on policy threats and opportunities.
• Anticipate developments and position Calbright to influence outcomes.
• Draft proposals for sponsored legislation and amendments.
