Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a General Manager for Midwest markets. The role includes completing an 8–12 month training program before a permanent GM assignment across regional locations.

Expect extensive travel during training and deployment to Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. You will drive sales and profits, lead a large team, and partner with the Regional VP to improve branch performance while ensuring licensing, HR compliance, and strong

Qualifications

3–5 years of General Management experience in a service-related industry.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to set budgets and grow sales and profit; strong leadership

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day sales and profit goals while ensuring quality service.
Monitor and report monthly performance including P&L and forecasts.
Oversee branch managers and a large team across markets; lead by example.
Collaborate with Regional VP to improve overall branch performance and strategy.
Ensure licensing/certifications and HR compliance as required.
Develop and retain commercial and residential customer relationships.
Recruit, hire and retain management, administration, and service staff.
