Job summary

Weyerhaeuser seeks an Area General Manager to lead the Fresno Distribution Center and oversee the Central California Distribution business. The role requires onsite leadership with up to 35% travel, maintaining a focus on people, profit and performance.

You will own the development and execution of a 5-year business plan, implement internal programs, and build durable relationships with customers and vendors while driving safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma/GED.
• 10+ years of related industry experience (e.g., Distribution, Manufacturing, Wholesale).
• 5+ years in a people management role.
• Proven leadership ability and inclusivity in culture; strong coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and general management of inside/outside sales and operations teams with site operations and finance partners.
• Partner with logistics, fulfillment, production planning, scheduling, and asset management to drive profitability.
• Motivate and energize teams; drive performance, growth, and development to meet goals and standards.
• Maintain and grow relationships with strategic customers and vendors; ensure exceptional customer service.
• Oversee safety, sales, logistics, and community engagement at the facility.
