Job summary

Weyerhaeuser's Distribution team in the USA-TX-Carrollton area seeks a seasoned leader to guide sales operations and logistics for wood and third-party products. You will shape a safe, efficient distribution environment, manage inventories, and optimize facility planning with an emphasis on Lean practices.

The role requires 2–5 years of leadership in manufacturing or distribution, strong production planning, and the ability to partner across functions to improve profitability and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years leading a team in manufacturing or distribution.
• Production planning experience.
• Experience with facility planning and layout of distribution/manufacturing ops.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics: demand planning, distribution, inventory, transportation, warehousing.
• Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management to support process improvement.
• Ability to motivate a diverse operations team.
• Experience establishing cross-functional business relationships.
• Understanding of profitability drivers in a business.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture in the distribution operation.
• Develop and maintain an effective sales operations team.
• Manage vendor contracts and procurement with logistics partners.
• Oversee inventory receipt, storage and delivery of wood and third-party products.
• Coordinate with sales to meet customer service expectations (order fulfillment, delivery).
• Drive lean/six-sigma initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
