Job summary

Reading Partners, a national nonprofit, seeks a Development and Fundraising Capacity Building VISTA to strengthen fundraising systems and regional workflows. You will build prospect pipelines, donor engagement tools, and partnership materials to support campaigns and annual appeals.

The role emphasizes data analysis, cross-regional collaboration, and creating scalable processes for sustainable fundraising infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or donor engagement is a plus.
• Ability to research prospects and build donor profiles.
• Strong written communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess regional fundraising systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Research corporations, foundations, and community organizations aligned with Reading Partners' mission.
• Develop prospect and partnership tracking systems and identify opportunities for support (financial or in-kind).
• Create donor stewardship materials and a reusable communication framework.
• Analyze donor data to strengthen engagement and retention.
• Develop project plans and tools to support fundraising campaigns and annual appeals.
• Document repeatable processes and standard operating procedures.
