Reading Partners in Los Angeles is seeking a LA REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT & FUNDRAISING CAPACITY BLDG VISTA to help strengthen fundraising systems and infrastructure across a national organization dedicated to improving literacy outcomes for students.

The role focuses on researching prospects, building donor engagement tools, and supporting campaign infrastructure with regional and national teams to ensure sustainable fundraising practices that extend beyond the service term.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize information and manage projects.
• Experience with donor engagement, data management, or partnerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess regional fundraising systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Research corporations, foundations, and community organizations; develop prospect profiles.
• Build and maintain prospect and partnership tracking systems and identify funding opportunities.
• Develop standardized outreach and partnership materials for staff.
• Create donor stewardship frameworks, calendars, and communications resources.
• Analyze donor data to strengthen engagement and retention.
• Develop project plans and tools to support campaigns and annual appeals.
• Organize development resources and document repeatable processes.
